Sometimes a good idea is a simple one. A few days ago, I decided to start my own business. I am the kind of person whose interest tends to fluctuate because I am always thinking. Thinking is almost like a hobby, but thought I never had was going into business for myself. I often thought I was never good enough or passionate enough about anything to be successful , so I chose to encouraged others in the pursuit of their dreams. There has always been a void in my life because of my struggle to connect with anything, and that struggle to connect goes for people too, unfortunately. For the first time I feel something resonate, I feel possessive, and passionate about something. While lying in bed a tiny seed of an idea began to sprout. Let me tell you it is not groundbreaking or innovative in real life, but for me it was genius in its simplicity. I feared speaking it into the ether and it is a good thing I did not have to because it sprang fully formed like Athena from Zeus’s head. The initial design for this blog gave me the idea for my own brand of tea. It was just so simple! I am a tea drinker; my cabinet is filled with a wide variety of tea! I love trying different flavors and exploring the different medicinal properties of teas. I have a naturalist mindset and believe in the power of medicinal herbs, and healing through foods. I have had an interest in natural medicine for a long time and never had I thought I might be able to share this interest with like-minded individuals. These last few days has been filled with lots research, if I am going to do this then it will be done right. I have a domain for my online store, Facebook page, and an Instagram for my tea business. I have found a vendor for possible third party distribution and a tea supplier in case I decide to play the role of an apothecary. I have designed my logo and had labels printed so I can see what it would look like on packaging. Since I am still in the experimental stage of figuring out what works so my labels are low quality, but I can promise you the final product will not be! I plan to be the owner and CEO of company that supplies premium and specialty teas nationwide. Now I am going to sip on this tea and continue to plot the course of my success.
